Learn to knit the brioche stitch! Brioche stitch is a wide ribbed stitch which produces a stretchy, squishy, reversible fabric. Brioche has its own set of rules to regular knitting, but once mastered its a lot of fun to work and the results can be gorgeous! Join us for a workshop of brk-ing and brp-ing as we explore the construction and techniques of this unique stitch pattern. In this class we will cover:
Choosing yarns for brioche
How to knit one colour brioche
Cable cast on with 2 colours
How to knit 2 colour brioche

All Knitting Needle Lane workshops are based in Cambridge CB1 area in a venue that is easy to locate and offers free parking – all workshops are held in a 10.7 x 8.0 m hall meaning there is plenty of room to social distance. Once booked you will receive a confirmation email. Each workshop booked will receive a KNL goodie bag with all the equipment that you will need to complete the course. We aim to provide you with a calm and mindful space so that your creative juices can flow !
